Space VLBI view of the gamma-ray blazar 1633+382 at 6 cm

These movie clips are based on two epochs of observation in 1997 and 1998 using the HALCA satellite of the VLBI Space Observatory Programme (VSOP) and various ground arrays which included antennas of the Very Long Baseline Array and Very Large Array of the National Radio Astronomy Observatory ( Cheung, Ulvestad, Vestrand, and Stacy 2003). The linear interpolation of images were performed with the Brandeis movie making AIPS script "BAMM," available to the public. See some other superluminal magnetic movies made from the BAMM scripts.
